Dear Laurel,

I just read my letter from last week and I would like to apologize for the spiteful and satanic undertones as well as its overflow into Thursday. I was having a sort of crummy day and decided to see if I could make it better by experimenting with Satanism. I had talked to a kid about Satanism last weekend, and he said that's what Satanists do. Instead of trying to forgive people or get over their anger, they encourage it. It was fun for most of the day, but I really couldn't keep it up. After I got home from school I took a nap and didn't feel at all Satanic or spiteful afterwards, so I gave up. I thought it was the sort of thing you would support.
