check out pomme de pareterre for the garden right across from ours at the festival. so good.... harnessing the energy of 1000 potatoes!

this was perhaps my favorite at the festival... although it has been there since 2003. it is a triangular house of green glass with no roof and two entrances/exits. it is translucent and so acts both as a mirror and window.

this one emulates water droplets on a spider web. inside the droplets are plants! i wish you could move them on the string or something. c'est beau! = "it's beautiful" = the only thing i knew how to say in french at the festival.

this one was right next to ours. you could jump on it since it was made out of rubber. it was quite dreamy.

this was ours. you can make any kind of tree you want with the pieces. it was inspired by the lego trees that are actually (surprisingly) unmodifiable. these are made out of resilient foam. there are many different sized pieces so you can go crazy with your unique tree. planting our own pines in a real pine forest... haha.

-oh!/oh?/oh...
"hey laurel"
