I am getting rid of all my watches. I don't even want to look at my clock on my computer or my clock on my phone. I know this isn't reasonable right now during finals, but I really want to do it.... probably over the summer. Yes. During my week of isolation/camping during the summer, I'm going to only do things when I am ready and not based on any time. I want to live in a timeless way (hopefully with black dress, the timeless classic haha) but at the same time (haha) I will know that time (haha) is, indeed, passing... by the sunrise and sunset. Cortázar says it best in his "preamble to the instructions on how to wind a watch." I wish we still had to wind watches.
